It was an easy trail, but I wouldn't be comfortable going up or down pucker pass in a car or vehicle without clearance or 4wd, or with a driver without off-road experience. It is commonly known as one of *the* rock climbing campground on the west side of Moab, as there are numerous climbing routes all along State Highway 279 aka "Wall Street", several of which are dire Camp at Williams Bottom Campground in Moab. If you are spending time around Moab, Kane Creek is one of the most convenient places to camp. Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your High-clearance and 4WD are all but a must. There are tons of open and flat sites (great views though! The main road is maintained, but some scouting may be required when turning in to certain campsites. Do it like a local! From the Poison Spider parking lot, walk the trail that leads to the slab with an obvious dinosaur track highlighted when people put plaster in the track to make a mold. The road continues up and around, becoming more difficult to navigate. Pests like the emerald ash borer, gypsy moth, and Asian longhorned beetle dont move far on their own but they can travel hundreds of miles in a single day in a bundle of contaminated firewood. This is an easy 1.5 mile hike to an amazing arch in Moab that ISN'T in Arches National Park. This campsite is in a quiet box canyon, so although its nice and peaceful, you wont find much cell signal. The further back you head the rougher the road gets, so keep that in mind if you have a low clearance vehicle. 10 Mile Canyon Overlook is a short side trail leading to a fantastic overlook with camping.
